Japan has formulated a large-scale research project on “a comprehensive study on the effective utilization of natural energy in agriculture, forestry and fisheries”. It is planned that from 1978 onwards, the ten-year plan will focus on the research institutes, universities and non-governmental organizations in the province’s agriculture and forestry departments. The research goal is to reduce the input of mineral energy through the effective utilization of solar energy in the agriculture, forestry and fisheries industry to increase the total output of energy.
