国外有研究证明,撒谎与寿命两者之间的确有关联。说实话的人,心态更平和,心理压力更小,身体更健康,因而长寿概率更大。慢性压力(持续两周以上的压力)会对健康造成多方面的损害。生物学研究发现,压力过大会激活人体内的“非战即逃”生理反应:心跳速度加快,血压升高,各种压力激素释放到血流中去。血压升高会损害心脑血管,导致免疫功能下降,容易感染各种疾病。更糟糕的是,研究发现,压力会加速端粒(DNA染色体末端)缩短。由于人体端粒长短与寿命成正比例关系,端粒越短,意味着老化加速,寿命越短。
