笔者曾对现代汉语3500个常用字和次常用字中的形声字进行考察,得出了形声字及其形符的有关数据,本文拟就这些数据对现代形声字的形符仍然具有表义功能的原因进行分析,以期得出一些规律性的东西。 一 几个基本数据 (一)现代常用形声字统计 根据笔者拟定的形声字的分析方法进行统计,3500个常用汉字中共有形声字2522个,形声字约占常用汉字的72%。
