The complexity of industrial manufacturing is increasing and the pursuit of higher efficiency, greater flexibility, better product quality and lower cost. The manufacturing process is constantly changing. Since the establishment of classical control theory in the early 1950s, engineers have devised methods for analyzing or designing systems.
