Comrade Deng Xiaoping upheld the Marxist line of seeking truth from facts, established the nature and tasks of the united front in the new period and put it into practice. Deng Xiaoping’s theory of the united front in the new era greatly enriched our party’s united front theory and became an important part of building a theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
