“五岭逶迤腾细浪,乌蒙磅礴走泥丸。”乌蒙山绵延在贵州、云南两省之间,地域宽广,气势雄伟,乌蒙大草原也属于乌蒙山脉的一个部分。乌蒙大草原是贵州省盘县境内的省级风景名胜区,景区位于盘县北部四格、坪地两乡境内,草原海拔2000米至2857米.是贵州省最高、最大的草场,景区由万亩坡上草原牧场、万亩矮杜鹃林、高原明珠长海子水库、牛棚梁子大山、备毛沟河溪等景点组成;神奇佛光、壮观雾海、高耸风车群也成了草原独有景观。
