June 8, 2009 Dear President Wang Zhongyu Dear Guests, Ladies and Gentlemen, Ladies and Gentlemen, Good morning! The Global Green Economy Summit was held today in Tianjin Binhai New Area. First of all, on behalf of Tianjin Municipal People’s Government and 11 million Tianjin The people of China warmly welcome all the Chinese and foreign guests and warmly congratulate on the convening of the conference. The green economy is a new form of economy developed for the sake of the harmony between economy and environment. It emphasizes the coordinated development of man and nature and is a new leap forward in human’s understanding of development. The summit will focus on ”developing a green economy - a deed that will promote the recovery of the global economy in the future."
