文章介绍了超高分子量聚乙烯(UHMWPE)纤维的性能及应用,尤其是在复合材料领域创新性应用的最新进展。通过对源头原料的本体改性,和UHMWPE纤维制造技术的改进,大大改善了材料的界面性能,并辅以多种优化的编织技术和复合材料制备工艺,成功实现了UHMWPE纤维增强复合材料的工业化制造。该新型复合材料首次成功应用于交通运输行业的承载系统中,为达到行业发展所提出的更轻、更强、更韧、更耐冲击的高性能要求提供了创新性的解决方案。
This paper introduces the properties and applications of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fibers, especially the latest progress in the innovative application of composite materials. Through the modification of the bulk raw materials and the improvement of the UHMWPE fiber manufacturing technology, the interfacial properties of the materials have been greatly improved, and with the help of various optimized weaving technologies and composite preparation processes, the industrialization of UHMWPE fiber reinforced composites has been successfully achieved manufacture. For the first time, the new composite has been successfully used in the transport industry’s bearer system to provide innovative solutions to the lighter, stronger, tougher and impact-resistant high-performance requirements of the industry.
