Yagyu and Shou Lang are disciples of the famous Japanese swordsman Miyamoto Musashi. When he was a teacher, he asked: “If I train day and night, I should be able to become a first-rate swordsman without having to spend much time?” “Miyamoto Musashi reprimanded him on the spot: ”Most people like you who are eager to get quick and easy are not up to speed." So from the date of the apprenticeship, Miyamoto asked Yagyu only to do splattering, neither to allow him to talk about fencing nor to touch his sword . After this situation lasted for three years, Miyamoto Musashi started a sudden attack on Yagyu day and night, forcing Yagyu to draw actual combat experience in the practice of avoiding and counterattack, and eventually became the most accomplished swordsman in Japanese fencing.
