用血清学、生态学及纵向流行病学研究方法研究在河南、山东两省选择有、无综合养鱼及不养鱼的4个农村观察点,比较农村人群的发病及人猪鸭群中人猪鸭甲型流感病毒感染情况,以验证综合养鱼导致人类甲型流感流行的假设,结果提出了综合养鱼对人群中甲型流感的发病和感染无关,养鸭对人群中人甲型流感病毒感染率升高起重要作用;而养猪则对感染率似无影响,以及人猪鸭甲型流感病毒可在人猪鸭群间相互传播的见解。
