First Experience - From the Beginning of the Classic Game to the Beginning of the Game and CPU Before the introduction of the CPU instruction set, the game delivers full performance without its support, such as the familiar “Red Alert” (Red Alert). Since Westwood launched the world’s first real-time strategy game Red Alert, the world has whipped up a whirlwind of real-time strategy games. This type of game screen engine is relatively simple, as long as the usual 2D graphics card can easily win. But the game performance can be fully played, mainly rely on the CPU’s floating-point operations. I remember when we generally use the Pentium166 system to play the red police, then feel the game runs very smoothly, and later when using their own P Ⅲ, P4 or Athlon system to try the game nostalgia game speed is the master Are hard to grasp. Thus, the early games rely mainly on the computing power of the CPU without the support of 3D instruction sets and 3D accelerator cards. In other words, in the Pentium era, the game depends on the hardware or CPU.
