Objective: To explore the characteristics of attribution and coping styles of criminal juveniles and their relationship. Methods: A total of 137 criminal juveniles and 139 ordinary adolescents were selected to accept attribution and coping style questionnaires. Results: (1) There were extremely significant differences (p <0.001) in the four factors of attribution genders between criminal youths and ordinary teenagers; (2) In response style comparison, Strategy, emotion-oriented coping strategies, rational-rationalizing strategies, behavioral-physiological strategies, deny-depressive strategies. There are statistically significant significant differences among the five factors. Conclusion: Adolescent criminals tended to be external, unstable, localized and uncontrollable in attributional style. The attribution style of criminal juveniles has a significant correlation with the coping style and its internal factors, and the two factors of “internal and external ” and “local integral ” can effectively predict the coping style.
