在一个陈述部分的后面加上一个简短的问句,表示对该陈述部分的事实提出相反疑问的句子叫反意疑问句。它由两部分组成:陈述部分+附加问句。一般情况下,若陈述部分为肯定式,附加问句用否定式;反之,陈述部分为否定式,则附加问句用肯定式。但也有例外。有时陈述部分是肯定句时,附加问句仍用肯定式。附加问句应和陈述部分在人称、数和时态方面保持一致。附加问句的主语必须用与陈述部分相应的人称代词的主格形式。否定的附加问句中,一般要用系动词、助动词或情态动词的否定式的缩略形式, 如isn’t,don’t,can’t等。
A brief question is added after the part of a statement, stating that the sentence that contradicts the fact of the part of the statement is called an anti-interrogative sentence. It consists of two parts: the statement part + additional questions. In general, if the statement is affirmative, the additional question is negative; if the statement is negative, the additional question is affirmative. But there are exceptions. Sometimes when the statement is affirmative, the additional question is still affirmative. Additional questions should be consistent with statements in terms of person, number, and tense. The subject of an additional question must use the main form of the personal pronoun corresponding to the part of the statement. Negative negation questions generally use negational abbreviations of verbs, auxiliary verbs, or modal verbs, such as isn’t, don’t, and can’t.
