太行山北段中生代岩基主要由中酸性岩和淡色花岗岩组成,还出露少量同深成的、来自富集地幔的基性岩,中酸性岩具有高钾钙碱性、高La/Yb比值和高Sr(和Ba)、Eu异常不明显以及低Y等特点,这些地球化学特点与来自富集地幔的基性岩的特点一致.中酸性岩的形成可能与来自富集地幔部分熔融并经历充分演化的基性岩浆与壳源花岗质岩浆相互混合形成混浆、再经历一定程度的分离结晶作用的复杂过程有关.淡色花岗岩富硅和钾而贫铁镁组分,可能代表中酸性岩分离结晶晚期的残余岩浆.因此,太行山中生代岩基代表相当规模的年轻陆壳增生.在上涌
