【正】由内燃机原理可知,发动机在工作过程中是由排气管汇集和导出汽缸内的废气,并将它排入大气中的。在接近膨胀行程终了废气开始排出时,仍有3~4千克力每平方厘米左右的压力,具有一定的能量。加以这个排气过程又是间断进行的,排气压力很不均匀。倘若让这些具有一定能量压力波动的废气直接排入大气,就会因气体压力降低,突然膨胀而引起气流的激烈震动,并发出刺耳的噪声,造成噪声公害。此外,排出的废气温度足有400~500℃,同时还带有火星,直接排入大气,与易燃物接触后还会引起火灾。因此,摩托车排气消声器应运而生,以减少排气噪
