2003年9月24日,霍尼韦尔在上海宣布,在中国生产的Garrett~(R)涡轮增压器产量已经达到100万台。此外,公司还同时庆祝霍尼韦尔上海涡轮增压器技术中心成立1周年。上海浦东新区常务副区长戴海波参加庆典活动,并代表新区政府接受霍尼韦尔公司赠送的纪念品——第一百万台涡轮增压器。
On September 24, 2003, Honeywell announced in Shanghai that its Garrett(R) turbocharger production in China has reached 1 million units. In addition, the company also celebrated the first anniversary of Honeywell’s Shanghai Turbocharger Technology Center. Dai Haibo, executive deputy head of Shanghai’s Pudong New Area, participated in the celebration and represented the New District government with Honeywell’s souvenir—the first million turbochargers.
