Objective To analyze the incidence of injury during the training period of recruits from a certain department of public security and firefighting and explore the preventive measures against injuries. Methods The registration of injuries and injuries of all recruits during the training period was dynamically registered. The data were analyzed by SPSS11.0. The index used diurnal incidence and composition ratio. Results The total incidence of diurnal and night-time in 2009 and 2010 were 32.21 ‰ and 29.05 ‰, respectively (P> 0.05). In 2009, digestive diseases, dermatoses and some infectious diseases accounted for a large proportion, while respiratory diseases and military training injuries accounted for a large proportion in 2010. The highest proportion of upper respiratory tract infections were respiratory diseases in 2009 and 2010 (91.36% and 85.23%), and the highest proportion of ankle sprains (51.90% and 34.95%) in military training injuries. Diarrhea Habitat digestive system diseases first. The diurnal incidence of diarrhea, acne and scabies was higher in 2009 than in 2010 (P <0.05), while the pain in legs and feet was lower than in 2010 (P <0.05). Conclusion Prevention of respiratory diseases can reduce injuries by more than 60%. Prevention of ankle and knee sprains is of great importance to reduce the injuries of military training. Strict diet and health is an effective means to reduce digestive diseases. Knowledge of dermatology prevention and control of infectious diseases monitoring, diagnosis and isolation training is an important aspect of publicity can not be ignored.
