《莎士比亚的文化资本》一改传统的文学研究范式,选择聚焦莎士比亚的经济影响,为莎士比亚和文化经济学研究提供了独特的视角。该书从出版编辑、影视改编、广告宣传、人文旅游、商业赞助等诸多方面描绘了一幅莎士比亚“产业帝国”的图景,立体地展现了莎士比亚的文化资本在市场语境下的历史传承和社会再生产机制。该书还将作为文化资本的文学引入国家文化话语体系的层面,在为文学研究开启一扇“资本”大门的同时,也将文学资本化的现实意义提升至宏大的国家软实力范畴。
