邻—羟基苯乙酮是有机及药物合成的重要原料或中间体。对其合成方法曾有不少学者从Tries重排反应的研究中作过报道,但收率都是对-轻基苯乙酮较高而邻位异构体较低,仅29~37%。文献方法大体分为两种:一种是采用溶剂如二硫化碳、苯和硝基苯等溶解样品,在较低温度下回流或反应,分离出溶剂后再以油浴升温反应。然后经酸水分解、溶剂提取、分级蒸馏等,操作繁琐,收率低;另一种方法是不用溶剂,由乙酸苯酯与无水三氯化铝催

Many scholars have reported the Tries rearrangement reaction, but the yields are higher for p-hydroxyacetophenone and lower for the ortho-isomer, only 29-37%.
