Pudong is a relatively independent geography unit formed after the final setting of the Huangpu River system in the Ming Dynasty. Since the middle of Ming Dynasty, salt production in the Pudong area has gradually taken a back seat to secondary status due to the folding of silver in salt courses and the expansion of land clearing. With the transfer and expansion of the salt areas, people, stoves and other people with different identities compete for resources to escalate. The abolition of the case from Qingpu Field clearly shows that the trend of extensive land reclamation into cash crops and economic crops not only severely squeezed the living space of the saltworks and stoves, but also directly led to the transfer of management rights in the saltworks.
