American native writer Jupiter’s short masterpiece, “White Heron,” highlights the conflict between urban and rural areas, men and women, science and technology and rural ideals and other diverse values. In addition to the ecological awareness and expression of women in harmony with nature embodied in Junett’s works, the research perspective can also be broadened into the “machine” image and nostalgia complex that emerged in the American Garden in the 19th century. The contradiction between pastoral ideal and technical rationality has become an important core metaphor in Jurt’s creations. Therefore, the idyllic pastoral songs portrayed in his works inevitably carry the ideals of “Arcadia” type of bird-top state.
