Media supervision is a double-edged sword that can push the case to justice and democracy, but may also cause problems in the judgment of the case. Nowadays, many media outlets make a clear-cut stand when reporting on the incidents. They often analyze the problems from the perspective of one of the parties. As a result, they are most likely not aware of the truth of the incident, listening to one side and misleading the public. The law respects the facts and stresses the evidence. The mass media mostly sympathize with the weak and make moral statements. This phenomenon gives rise to an illusion of law and many people are disgusted with the law. They think that the law is too cruel and unethical.
