农村电气化建设是社会主义新农村建设的重要组成部分,是发展农村各项事业的重要基础和支撑。2006年,国家电网公司围绕党中央、国务院大力推进社会主义新农村建设的总体目标,深入分析农村经济和社会发展用电需求,提出了建设新型农网的农电发展战略,规划在“十一五”期末,全面完成新农村电气化“百、千、万”示范工程,逐步构建“户户通电、供电可靠、安全经济、供用和谐”的农村电气化发展新格局。
