英语阅读课是初中学生习得英语的知识和培养综合语言技能的主要渠道。自从施行新的课程标准以来,英语课堂教学的模式发生了显著的变化。但是,由于部分教师对英语语言教学的规律缺乏了解,对新的课程标准的认识还不深刻,课堂教学中存在种种“低效高耗”的现象。导致课堂教学效率不高,学生的学习兴趣寥寥。目前,初中英语课堂教学“高耗低效”的现象主要表现为:1.阅读课的课堂教学的形式大于内容。教师对课型的理解不深刻,阅读能力的培养和阅读技能的提升没有得到足够的重视。
