回归线分割值方法是一种精密而有效的统计处理方法。实践表明其优点是:柔韧性大,适用范围广;使用条件明确,易于掌握。但计算较繁。为此,在统计试验的基础上提出一个简法,效果令人满意。在事物本身和事物之间,通过回归线分割值方法可以确定水平,进行比较,找出关系,充分提供各种信息,满足多方面的需要。常用于研究:一元变量与二元变量,正态分布数据与偏态分布数据。在统计描述和统计推论中,本法有重要的应用价值,尤其对于极值的分析具有特殊的意义。
