大学英语的词汇教学侧重于从语音、词义等基础层面着手,但是这样让学生对词汇进行机械的记忆,教学效果并不理想。隐喻作为一种认知机制可以为大学英语的词汇教学开辟一条全新的思路。
Vocabulary teaching in college English focuses on basic aspects such as phonetics and lexical meaning, but in this way students can make mechanical memory of lexicons and the teaching effect is not ideal. Metaphor as a cognitive mechanism can open up a whole new way of thinking for college English vocabulary teaching.
