自上世纪70年代开始,我便有幸在中国美院从事雕塑系教学辅助工作,而今已近四十载。从技术角度看雕塑,一是雕,凿去多余的体积,取得完美的造型;二是塑,添加具黏性的物质,堆砌生动的形象。雕与塑是加与减所表述的特征。无论具象、抽象,写实、观念,它的构成手段永远是数理关系。雕与塑的过程是节奏与韵律的体现,我专职于石质的雕刻,属于第一类。数年来在开展石刻技法教学的同时,更从事于雕塑作品中石质的加工部分。本篇笔者将雕刻创作中对材料的探索和心得整理成文,以便自身提高,并就教于各位师长与同行。
Since the 1970s, I have been fortunate enough to assist in the teaching of sculpture at the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts. It has now been almost 40 years. Sculptures from a technical point of view, one is carving, chisel excess volume, and obtain the perfect shape; the second is plastic, adding a sticky material, piled vivid image. Vulture and sculpture are added and subtracted by the characteristics expressed. No matter figurative, abstract, realistic, ideas, it is always a mathematical relationship between the means. The process of carving and molding is the embodiment of rhythm and rhythm. I specialized in stone carving and belong to the first category. Over the past few years in the teaching of stone techniques at the same time, more engaged in the work of sculpture in the stone processing. The author will be carved in the creation of materials exploration and experience finishing order, in order to improve their own, and to teach you to teachers and colleagues.
