从身体位置来看,核心(Core)是最接近身体重心的中间环节(腰-骨盆-髋关节)。核心稳定性存在于所有运动项目中,对运动中的身体姿势、运动技能和专项技术动作起着稳定和支持作用。同时也是整体发力的主要环节、对上下肢体的协同用力还起着承上启下的枢纽作用。在网球运动中、躯干与肩、髋关节复合体的稳定性是必要的,在全身运动功能的改善中起重要作用——提高网球运动员身体的控制力和平衡力,使得挥拍击球更稳定更有控制能力;提高上下肢和动作间的协调工作效率使得挥拍击球动作更快,更有力;提高运动员场地上的变向和急停急转速度;预防运动中的损伤。核心稳定训练作为网球体能训练的重要组成部分,一般应该由基本的平稳地面练习开始,逐渐过渡到不平稳支撑上的练习,循序渐进进行。动作质量是核心稳定性训练的主要要求,一定要在把握训练质量的基础上逐渐增加训练难度与训练数量。
