“早在20年前,市卫生信息化工作就已经起步。”某市卫生局信息中心谢维副主任这样说道。但就在这样的一个进程中,如何管好数据、用好数据成为谢维副主任和同事们面临的新问题。目前,每天进入该市卫生系统后台数据库的数据量达到了1600万笔,一年多已经累积数据43亿多笔。过去那种传统的数据库架构显然无法满足能够处理如此海量的数据的高性能、高效率的信息系统的需求。为了更好地构建健康信息搜索及智能提示系统,谢维副主任和他的同事们亟待寻找一种新的技术来解决这一问题。
