Suppose thatthere are k factors each having q levels. Ifone w ants to arrange thisexperi m ent by the orthogonaldesign table Ln(qs),w e w onder w hether any k colum ns of the tableachieve the sam e accuracy in the statisticalsense. Properties of allthe subdesigns of an or thogonaldesign are called projection properties ofthis design ,thatcan provide guideline howto apply this design to practice. In this lecture w e introduce projection properties oforthogo naldesigns and applications ofthe uniform ity to study these properties.
