随着新新贸易理论的建立与不断发展,基于生产率异质性研究企业出口越来越受到重视。本文首先提出数理模型来分析生产率对出口的决定机制,再通过2007年中国制造业企业样本检验企业生产率对其出口决策以及出口规模的影响。结论认为:生产率的提高会使企业更具有能力选择出口,但是在自由决定进入国内市场以及出口市场时,企业未必会因为生产率的提高而选择出口;对于全体样本,实证检验认为生产率与企业出口行为是负相关的,对于出口企业样本,实证检验也认为企业生产率与其出口规模是负相关的。这样可以看出,新新贸易理论在中国的适用性还需更进一步研究。
With the establishment and continuous development of new and new trade theory, the export of enterprises based on the study of productivity heterogeneity has drawn more and more attention. In this paper, we first propose a mathematical model to analyze the determinants of the export-oriented productivity, and then examine the impact of the firm’s productivity on its export decisions and the scale of exports through the sample of Chinese manufacturing enterprises in 2007. The conclusion is that the increase of productivity will make enterprises more able to choose to export, but the enterprises may not choose to export because of the increase of productivity when they decide to enter the domestic market and export market freely. For the whole sample, the empirical test finds that productivity and export behavior Is negatively correlated. For the sample of export enterprises, the empirical test also holds that the productivity of enterprises is negatively correlated with the scale of its exports. This shows that the applicability of the new new trade theory in China still needs further study.
