Facing fierce competitors, smart manufacturers must consider the high-end bicycle market. Last year, Japan’s Panasonic Corporation entered the Federal German market tentatively and was very satisfied with its market demand. In 1988, the first eight models of high-end bicycles were introduced to the Federal Republic of Germany. The price was between 900 and 2000 marks. These eight models of high-end bicycles are: “MC3500” type mountain bike, “MC4500” type mountain bike, senior coach, four kinds of racing cars and “DX5000” type two-level racing. MorihiSa Kaneko, head of Parlasonic Germany GmbH, is very confident in the sales results.
