根据国家的统一部署,我市农业资源调查和农业区划工作于1979年8月首先在遵化县开始,以后相继在乐亭、丰南、玉田、迁西、迁安、滦南、丰润、唐海、滦县、东矿、开平等县区逐步展开。到1985年8月底基本结束。共抽调技术干部二千四百多名,投入资金一百八十多万元,形成档案,资料四千八百多卷(盒)。在这次农业资源调查和农业区划过程中,我市各级农业区划部门在认真管理好农业资源调查档案,资料的同时,还通过各种形式积极提供档案、资料为发展农村经济服务,取得了显著的经济效益。
