项目地点:墨西哥城Design:FREE/Femando RomeroLocation:Mexico CitySoumaya美术馆是位于墨西哥市中心的一家私人美术馆。美术馆是一个有机的多维建筑,不透明的外墙用大量六边形的铝制模块搭建,醒目的银色规模造型是墨西哥首个具有前卫的形态和象征意义的美术馆。它区别于周围建筑物,是对典型的美术馆标准化方盒子体型的巨大突破,这也成了设计中要面对的挑战。整个美术馆占地17,000平方米,共六层的展览空间约有6,000平方米。美术馆还修建了一个350席的讲堂、一座图书馆、办公室、餐厅、礼品店以及一个多功能的休息厅等。
Project Location: Mexico City Design: FREE / Femando Romero Location: Mexico CitySoumaya Art Museum is a private art gallery located in the center of Mexico City. The Art Gallery is an organic, multidimensional building with an opaque façade clad in massive hexagonal aluminum modules. The eye-catching silver scale is Mexico’s first avant-garde form and symbolic art gallery. It is different from the surrounding buildings, is a huge breakthrough in the typical art museum standardization box body shape, which has become the design challenges to be faced. The entire museum covers an area of 17,000 square meters, a total of about 6,000 square meters exhibition space of six. The gallery also built a 350-seat lecture hall, a library, offices, restaurants, gift shops and a multi-purpose lounge and so on.
