Integration of blood collection and supply resources There are 21 blood collection and supply agencies in Hubei Province, including 1 provincial-level blood center, 12 prefecture-level central blood stations, 3 direct-control blood stations and 5 central blood banks. In recent years, according to the needs of the population, medical resources and clinical blood in Hubei Province, the Ministry of Health issued the “Hubei Provincial Blood Collection and Supply Agency Settings Plan”. By 2010, the blood stations in the province will be adjusted to 16, all seven center blood banks will be closed, and some center blood banks will be changed to
