Iquitos is a city deep in the Amazonian jungle. There is no road or rail connection with the outside world. External traffic depends entirely on aviation and the Amazonian waterway. The city is 3,700 kilometers away from the mouth of the Amazon River, making it the “harbor” farthest from the coast in the world. The Amazon River in South America is the world’s largest river with the largest flow and drainage area. With a total length of more than 6,400 kilometers, more than half of the rivers are distributed in Peru. Compared to the wide, gentle river in Brazil, the Amazon River in Peru is complicated and strangely difficult. In the depths of the river, there is an isolated city, Iquitos. Iquitos, located at the confluence of the Amazon and several major river systems, is surrounded by rivers and there is no complete land to connect with the surrounding cities, so that even today it is still inaccessible roads and railways. Fortunately, however, small and medium-sized ocean-going ships can cross the Amazon through the Amazon Ocean
