校企合作通常指学校与企业双方以生存和发展的共同愿望为基础,以人才、技术、效益为结合点,利用学校和企业不同的环境与资源,以培养适合生产、建设、服务、管理一线实用型人才为主要目标的办学形式。这种模式一般以学生为合作对象,学生通过在校学习既可以获得扎实的专业理论知识,也可以利用假期甚至阶段性的顶岗实习锻炼自身的动手实践能力。目前,这种模式已经在广大高校推广,是培养学生的一种有效策略。鉴于校企合作在培养学生动手实践能力上的优势,将高校教师作为校企合作的对象,学校和企业双方平等合作,学校教师参与企业实践活动以掌握行业最新信息,丰富教师实践经验,提高教师专业技能。经过企业挂职锻炼后的高校教师再返回学校任教,由于他们掌握了行业一线的信息,也更能够培养出企业所需的专门人才,因此,校企合作模式无论在培养学生还是锻炼高校教师方面都能带来一个企业和学校双赢的局面,值得我们推广利用。
