现在的中学生,大多数是名副其实的“追星族”,他们争相选购明星们的照片、画报,在卧室墙壁等到处张贴,流行歌曲更是烂熟于心,遇有演唱会,千方百计都要亲临现场,那股热情绝对超过学习。出于职业敏感,许多教师担心学生追星会分散精力,影响学习,视其为洪水猛兽,极力反对,最后引起学生的反感,影响师生之间的感情,得不偿失。笔者对这股“洪水”采取了“导”的办法,充分利用其积极影响,让明星成了英语课堂教育、教学的好帮手。
Nowadays, most middle school students are veritable “chasing stars”. They scramble to buy photos and pictorials of stars and post them everywhere on the walls of the bedroom. Popular songs are so familiar that they have concerts and do everything they can to visit them. On the spot, that enthusiasm definitely exceeds learning. Due to occupational sensitivities, many teachers worry that students’ star-chasing will distract from their energy and affect their learning. They will regard it as a flood and scourge and strongly oppose it. Finally, they will arouse students’ disgust and affect the feelings between teachers and students. The author took a “guide” approach to this “flood” and made full use of its positive influence, making the star a good helper for English classroom education and teaching.
