比喻乃语言精粹，民族风雅之遗产，因而比喻往往都打上了民族文化的烙印，翻译时很难驾驭。本文拟通过对英汉两种语言中比喻喻体所承载的民族文化特色及文化信息差异的比较，探讨其翻译的途径。
The metaphor is the essence of language, the heritage of ethnic elegance, and therefore the metaphor often bears the mark of the national culture, and it is difficult to control the translation. This paper intends to explore the ways of translation by comparing the differences in cultural features and cultural information carried by metaphorical metaphors in English and Chinese.
