研究发现位于南沙海区溶跃面之上的17957-2柱状样碳酸盐溶解作用的变化,在近0.8Ma以来CaCO3含量存在冰期高、间冰期低的“太平洋型”碳酸盐旋回,数次碳酸盐强溶解作用均发生在间冰期向冰期的转折.频谱分析结果显示,南海长时间尺度的碳酸盐旋回以近500ka和近100ka等周期为主.与印度洋深海沉积物的粗组分综合指数及浮游有孔虫保存状况变化对比,南海碳酸盐旋回近500ka的周期可能反映了长时间尺度上大洋深水循环的特征.
It was found that the dissolution of 17957-2 column-like carbonate located above the surface of the Nansha sea area had a “Pacific” carbonate cycle with a high ice age and a low interglaciation since the recent 0.8 Ma The strong carbonate dissolution occurred in the interglacial to glacial transition. The results of spectrum analysis show that carbonate cycles on the long-term SCS are dominated by cycles of nearly 500 ka and nearly 100 ka. Compared with the changes of the crude sediment composition index and planktonic foraminiferal storage in the Indian Ocean, the carbonate cycle in the SCS nearly 500ka cycles may reflect the characteristics of ocean deepwater circulation over a long time scale.
