红岩精神是抗日战争和解放战争时期,在重庆市红岩村和歌乐山,革命先烈为了新中国的诞生而前仆后继用生命锤炼、培育形成的一种时代精神。1991年4月和2002年5月,江主席在视察重庆期间指出:红岩精神同井冈山精神、长征精神、延安精神一样,都是中国共产党人和中华民族的宝贵精神财富。为了继承和弘扬红岩精神,重庆警备区广泛开展弘扬“红岩精神”教育、引导官兵自觉实践红岩精神活动,取得成效。
Hongyan spirit is the spirit of the times when the Anti-Japanese War and the War of Liberation were held in Hongyan Village and Geleshan in Chongqing. The revolutionary martyrs took the lead in cultivating a new spirit of the times in order to create a new China. In order to inherit and carry forward the spirit of Hongyan, Chongqing Garrison widely carry forward the ”Hongyan Spirit" education, and guide officers and soldiers to consciously practice Hongyan spiritual activities, and achieved results.
