人类历史每一次文明演进的实质都是技术革命的推动。我国正处在建设创新型国家、创新型社会的大潮中,科技创新成为一种时代变革的力量。在这种环境下,产业结构正在发生移位与蜕变,新兴产业正在逐渐成型,并逐步渗入人们的观念和精神,进而改变着人们的生活。科技创新已经融入到产业经济的方方面面,融入到文化产业的血液中,成为推动文化产业发展的重要驱动力。江苏省区域文化产业在文化资源、文化品牌、文化设施、文化产业总量等方面,相比其他省份,已经形成了较强的产业竞争力,但部分要素仍存在竞争力相对落后的现状,文化产业整体竞争力稍弱。因此,在科技创新的时代背景下,江苏省应以运用高新技术手段作为推动文化产业发展的首要驱动因素,改造与完善文化产品,带动文化产业的技术升级和结构重组,全面提升江苏省文化产业竞争力。
