The dosage of Chinese medicine prescriptions is mostly calculated by weight. The units used are usually municipal (16 two systems), two, money, cents, and PCT, of which the most are used for money and points; but for some medicines, the amount is usually calculated in numbers, such as Jujube with a piece (a), flowers with flowers, insects only (articles) ... ... and so on. Due to the different sizes of individual natural medicines, and sometimes wide disparities, this gap is not only prevalent in decoction prescriptions but also in the production of ancient herbal medicines. At the same time, the amount of drugs measured in quantities is sometimes measured by weight. Because there is no certain proportional relationship between each other, a greater gap in the amount of drugs used is caused. These conditions, to a large extent, affect the accuracy of the drug dosage, thus affecting the clinical application. For this reason, the author puts forward the following opinions and discusses with the comrades in medicine.
