韩愈是文以载道理论的首倡者,但他的诗却不同于他的文。他的文宗经传道,几乎篇篇有一个重大的主题,但他的诗却表现出了对言志载道传统的反叛倾向,他引身边琐事入诗,并且有些是与社会表现无关的纯个人琐事,使他的某些诗呈现出意义的真空,人们对之说不出有多么深刻的思想意义;在形式上,韩愈的诗表现着非诗化即散文化的倾向,以非诗的形式写诗,表现着对固有的诗体形式的反叛倾向,好像他的诗里只有散文美而没有诗美;他所描写的对象由美的事物向怪、丑的对象转移,不令人直感到美的愉悦。但是,意义的缺失、诗意的缺失、审美特征的缺失对于一首诗都是致命的弱点,这就带来了如何评价和分析韩愈之诗的问题。本文以《落齿》诗为例,试图说明以空白的形式显示意义、以散文的形式传达诗意、对不美的砖?解生美感体验是文学发展过程中必经的一个历史阶段,并且是一个杰出文学家的重要特征。
