年年大同小异的国际乒联巡回赛日本站比赛,在2008年里却带着些不同和特别,从去年的千叶赛场,又回到了前年和大前年的赛馆——横滨文化体育馆。5月21日至25日,68名男子选手和56名女子选手参加了本次比赛。男子方面,萨姆索诺夫、波尔、科贝尔等欧洲高手没有参赛,日本的水谷隼也因为参加德国联赛而继续缺席国际乒联巡回赛。女子方面,目前世界排名前14的选手,齐刷刷地亮相本次赛场。
The similarities and specials of the annual table tennis tournaments of the ITTFTA Tournament, which were repeated every year in 2008, returned to the Yokohama Cultural Gymnasium, the venue of the previous year and the year before, from last year’s Chiba Stadium. From May 21 to May 25, 68 men and 56 women athletes participated in the competition.
