在中国电视导演的行列里,张绍林是个抢眼的人物,他的作品曾多次荣获电视“金鹰奖”、“飞天奖”,有“获奖专业户”之称。他的敬业精神在电视界有目共睹,人送绰号“拼命三郎”。张绍林和电视结缘,要从他画画谈起。张绍林是个苦孩子.他生在河北霸县。他和百废待兴的祖国一起经历了风风雨雨。在他童年的记忆里,贫困和饥饿始终不离他半步,11岁时,母亲去世了,他跟着父亲和姐姐艰难度日。如果贫困还能够忍受的话,那饥饿则象一头怪兽无时不在吞噬着绍林的身体,十几岁了,身材还十分矮小。仅仅为了混饱肚子,他报名当民工,加入了挖海河的大军。在这里,他第一次尝到了吃饱肚子的滋味,个子蹭蹭地往上蹿,蹿成了一个大小伙子。待回到村里时,队里便把他当成了劳力使用,安排他去看机器。
