长期以来以终结性评价为单一评价方式的传统教学在很大程度上打击了学生的学习积极性,削弱了学生的自信心。美国学者斯克里芬提出的形成性评价很好的弥补了终结性评价的弊端,同时也对培养学生的合作意识,提高学生的学习效率有着极为重要的意义。本文从形成性评价的理论基础和国内外研究现状出发,结合我国高职院校学生的英语普遍水平和专业需求,阐述了在高职院校英语教学中深入开展形成性评价的意义和方法。
For a long time, the traditional teaching which uses the terminal evaluation as the sole evaluation method has greatly affected the students ’learning enthusiasm and undermined the students’ self-confidence. The formative evaluation proposed by American scholar Schlicken makes up for the shortcomings of the final evaluation. It also plays an extremely important role in cultivating students ’sense of cooperation and improving students’ learning efficiency. Based on the theoretical foundation of formative evaluation and the current situation both at home and abroad, the paper expounds the significance and method of carrying out formative evaluation in English teaching of higher vocational colleges combining with the general English proficiency and professional needs of students in higher vocational colleges.
