1999年 ,互联网浪潮开始冲击中国大陆 ,网络公司以每天平均两个的速度增长。它不仅创造了一个个成功创业的神话 ,而且也因此成为中国舆论界的热门话题 ,电视、报纸、杂志 ,几乎所有的媒体都充斥着有关网络经济的报道、有关互联网的专刊不断涌现、互联网研讨会一轮接着一轮地开。在轰轰烈烈的互联网宣传攻势中 ,风险投资、新经济、电子商务、B2B、B2C、赛博空间、虚拟主持人、点击率、眼球经济、注意力经济、无线上网、机顶盒、…… ,诸如此类的新名词层出不穷。国人淹没在新名词的海洋中 ,对其背后的实质却不甚了了。我们自本期开始设立网络经济专栏 ,着重选登一些利用经济学基本概念和分析工具对互联网及其影响进行分析的文章 ,加深我们对互联网背后的经济运行规则的认识 ,以推动网络经济的理论研究。
