1998年长江发生了本世纪仅次于1954年的全流域大洪水。这次洪水的发生又一次引起全国各界乃至世界的关注,三峡工程对1998年洪水的防洪能起到什么样的作用。在分析三峡工程防洪功能的分析中,将三峡工程防洪库容221.5亿m3划分为3个部分,并针对1998年洪水设想了3种调度方案。根据1998年洪水初步的资料,按照以上调度方式进行了模拟调度运算。结果表明,如果有了三峡工程,1998年长江中下游洪水位将大幅度降低,防汛情势将有质的变化。
In 1998, a grand flood hit the Yangtze River which was second only to 1954 in this century. Once again, this flood has aroused the concern of all walks of life in the country and even the world. What is the role the Three Gorges Project can play in flood control in 1998? In analyzing the flood control function of the Three Gorges Project, the flood control storage capacity of TGP is 22.25 billion m3 divided into three parts, and three kinds of scheduling schemes for the 1998 flood are envisaged. According to preliminary data from the flood in 1998, the simulation scheduling operation was carried out according to the above schedule. The results show that with the Three Gorges Project, flood levels in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River will be significantly reduced in 1998, and there will be qualitative changes in the flood control situation.
