本文探讨的音乐的“意义”指人们从音乐中所能得到的信息。这些信息包括4类,一是外观信息,即音乐与非音乐区分开的外部特征提供的信息;二是结构消息,即音乐形式所提供的信息;三是内部信息,也就是音乐形式所包含的内容;四是联结消息,即音乐和音乐之外事物联系所产生的信息。音乐的意义是音乐理解的对象,而理解则是审美的基础。
The “meaning” of music discussed in this paper refers to the information that people get from music.
